Joint Readiness Coaching Heart officers introduced {that a} soldier died Saturday throughout a coaching incident on the Louisiana heart.
The soldier, whose title is being withheld pending subsequent of kin notification, was assigned to the 749th Ordnance Firm, 242nd Explosive Ordnance Battalion, 71st EOD Group at Fort Carson, Colorado, heart spokesman Keith Houin informed Military Instances on Monday.
The unit was on the Fort Johnson, Louisiana heart for a coaching rotation.
“Our ideas and prayers are with the soldier’s household, buddies, and colleagues throughout this troublesome time,” stated the Commanding Common of JRTC and Fort Johnson, Maj. Gen. David W. Gardner.
The coaching heart is one in all two main fight coaching facilities utilized by troopers for unit certification and pre-deployment coaching. The opposite is the Nationwide Coaching Heart in Fort Irwin, California.
