CAPE TOWN – Controversial Patriotic Alliance (PA) chief Gayton McKenzie has taken the oath as a minister in President Cyril Ramaphosa’s Cupboard.
He mentioned that solely a choose few athletes and creatives have been reaping the advantages of the sports activities, arts and tradition division, which he’ll now be in command of.
“Cash needs to be spent on museums. Cash needs to be spent on sports activities individuals, on sports activities issues and cash should not be spent on individuals who actually don’t have anything to do with the division, apart from exploiting this division.”
McKenzie, who recurrently criticises the media for rehashing his prison previous, on Wednesday himself quipped about it after taking his oath earlier than Chief Justice Raymond Zondo.
